This is my first year at OPHS and I will teach English I. This will be my third year with the Ouachita Parish School District. 

 I taught English at Richwood High School for the 21-22 and 22-23 school years.  Before that, I taught 7^th grade Social Studies at Caldwell Parish Junior High. 

I have been married to my husband since 2005.  We have five children together.  Our children are 17, 15, 8,7, and 1 month old.  We have 4 girls and one very active little boy.  Only one of my children attend OPHS.  Abagail is a sophomore and plays softball for the Lady Lions.  We have two dogs, Charlie ( a Siberian Husky) and Paisley ( a mutt). 

When I am not teaching, I love to watch baseball and softball.  I also like to do various crafting projects and home improvement/diy projects.
