This is my first year as a Ouachita Parish High School LION!
I am currently teaching English II, English IIPreAP, and Speech II.
I am thrilled to be a Ouachita Lion! I teach English II and have done so for eight years at two other schools. The first 12 years of my teaching career I taught English I and III, Speech I, Reading I and II, English grade 4 and 5, Social Studies, Health, and Physical Education. I have served as Cheer Coach, Chess Club Sponsor, and FCS Sponsor. I have a B.S. degree in Health and Human Performance with a minor in English and an M.Ed. degree in Administration and Supervision. I am extremely passionate when it comes to helping students realize they have the ability within themselves to achieve their goals regardless of their current situations no matter what they may be. Watching a student succeed ignites an even greater passion for teaching within me.
