Algebra 2 Syllabus. The Teacher Ann Caraway I am a graduate of ULM with a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Things You Need 3 subject notebook Pencils, lots of pencils TI-30xs Multiview Calculator 1 pad or pack graph paper color pencils 1 pack of notecards. Policies Practice is vital to learning math. Practice is included with each daily lesson as well as on IXL. Homework assignments are to be turned in 2 days after they are assigned. Tests are to be taken in class unless there are extenuating circumstances. If you take a test outside of class without clearing it first, it will be considered cheating. If you need to make-up a test, schedule to do so during my planning period or after school. Tutoring is available on Tuesday after school from 3-4 pm for free. Please see me to schedule. Refer to your OPHS Student Handbook for policies regarding attendance, tardiness, cheating, dress code, and electronics. If you are absent for any reason, it is your responsibility to make up the work and/or get the notes that you missed. Check Google Classroom and the lesson plans for assignments. Grading Policy Tests will be worth 100 points each. Quizzes will be worth 20 points each. Homework, classwork, and ACT Practice will be 10 points weekly. Grading Scale 100 - 90 A 89 - 80 B 79- 70 C 69- 60 D 59 - 0 F.
