COVID-19 ANNOUCEMENTS for ALGEBRA II
There will not be a 4th 9 weeks grade. Year End Grades will be averaged from the 1st 9 weeks grades. Students will be given 2 options about their Year End Grade.
*You must complete the following survey to determine which option you choose for your Year End Grade by Friday, April 24, 2020. If you do not complete the survey stating you option by this date, your grade will be considered as is!!!
*I will hold office hours on Fridays, May 1st, May 8th, and May 15th from 8 to 8:45 am to answer questions and assist any students with work.
* Students my check out Chromebooks (one per household) if needed to complete Option 2. Please school the OPHS’s website for more information.
*Year End Grade Options are as follows…
Option 1: Keep my grade as is.
Option 2: Improve my grade by earning 100 Bonus points by
a. Attending Zoom 3 Meetings on April 29th, May 6th, and May 13th from 8 to 8:45 am
b. Completing Assignments 1, 2, 3, and 5 under COVID-19 Assignments or Google Classroom and submitting them on Google Classroom
c. Completing Assignments from each of the Zoom Meetings and submitting them on Google Classroom.
The 100 bonus points will be awarded as follows…
25 points for the April 29th Zoom meeting
25 points for the May 6th Zoom meeting
25 points for the May 13th Zoom meeting
25 points for the completed assignments
If and only if the student doesn’t have interent access, then they can pick up the printed copies for Algebra II at the school. However, the student will need to contact me to let me know.
